About Us

At Croydon Physiotherapy, you will find the highest quality of physiotherapy in Croydon. Croydon Physio was set up in 2005 by Tim Allardyce

Running Experts and Marathon Injury Clinic

At Croydon Physio we have extensive experience with running injuries, and some of our team have also run marathons. We look after a number of top British Sprinters, and amateur to elite marathon runners. We are also a London Marathon Running Injury clinic member. In addition we regularly receive referrals from a number of running coaches at regional, national and international level.

Massage Therapy and Sports Massage

We recommend Taja Watkins-Scott who is based at our sister clinic in Mitcham. The clinic is located right next door to Mitcham tram stop making it easy access from Croydon and the surrounding areas. If you would like to book an appointment with Taja, please call 0208 685 6930.

You can get Acupuncture in Croydon at Addington Palace. Dry needling or trigger point acupuncture is where acupuncture needles are placed directly into painful areas, such as muscle problems or back pain and this is done by a number of our fully qualified physiotherapists, who use local acupuncture needles for back pain and sports injuries to reduce local pain and inflammation.

MRI Croydon / X-Ray Croydon:

If you need an MRI or X-ray, phone us for a consultation and benefit from our rates of MRI in Croydon and London. We have negotiated special rates for patients and we take no commission.

Work Experience:

We used to take work experience students under 18 but now we don’t, so we only take students over the age of 18 who are at undergraduate level. Contact us for more information.

Surrey Physio:

Our sister clinic is Surrey Physio and its basically the same organisation as Croydon Physio. Tim took over Surrey Physio in 2008 from its previous owners, three years after opening Croydon Physio. It has now grown and we are all like one big team. Because we established such a good reputation in the local area, we kept the name Croydon Physio.

Local Clinics: Locally we are based at Parkside Group Practice, S.Croydon, and East Croydon Medical Centre, as well as our two bases at 1 Upper Selsdon Rd, and 409-411 London Road, Mitcham. So we pretty much have Croydon covered. If you need physiotherapy or osteopathy in Croydon, please consider using us as your first choice clinic.
